SpeakMail turns a voice recording into an AI-assisted email draft and lets you send the draft with the original audio attached.
Q: Why does SpeakMail need an internet connection?
A: SpeakMail uses cloud AI services to transcribe recordings and organize the transcript into an email subject and body. Recording and local history remain available on your device, but transcription and AI drafting require a network connection.
Q: Why might a transcription or draft contain mistakes?
A: Speech recognition and generated text can be inaccurate. Background noise, language selection, names, numbers, and technical terms can affect the result. Always review the subject, body, attachment, and recipient before sending.
Q: Where are my recordings and drafts stored?
A: SpeakMail stores recordings, transcripts, drafts, send status, recent recipient addresses, and preferences in the app’s local storage. A copy of the audio is sent to the cloud transcription service when you request transcription, and transcript text is sent to the AI drafting service when that feature is used. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Q: How does email sending work?
A: SpeakMail prepares the subject, body, recipient, and audio attachment, then opens your device’s email interface. You can review and edit everything before sending. SpeakMail does not receive your email password or the recipient’s reply.
Q: How do I manage or cancel SpeakMail Pro?
A: SpeakMail Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Manage or cancel it in the subscriptions settings of the app store account used for the purchase. Cancel before the end of the current billing period to avoid renewal.
Q: How do I restore a purchase?
A: Use Restore Purchases on the SpeakMail Pro screen while signed in to the app store account that made the purchase.
When contacting support, please include the app version, device and operating-system version, and a description of the issue. Do not send confidential recordings or email content unless it is necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.
