These Terms of Use govern your use of Shift, an iPhone contact export and transfer tool published by W4N9WE1. By downloading or using Shift, you agree to these terms.
Shift helps you select contacts and create local export files or password-protected backup files. You are responsible for:
Shift does not automatically import, overwrite, or delete contacts on another device.
Shift Pro is currently offered as a non-consumable lifetime in-app purchase. The purchase unlocks the Shift Pro features associated with the Apple account used for the transaction while those features are supported in the app.
Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple under Apple’s refund policies. You can use Shift’s Restore Purchases action to restore an eligible purchase.
RevenueCat helps Shift verify purchase access and restore entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your contacts, exported files, or backup passwords.
Password-protected backups are encrypted locally on your iPhone. We do not store a copy of your password and cannot reset or recover it. You are responsible for remembering the password and protecting the backup file.
You may not use Shift to violate another person’s privacy or rights, break applicable law, interfere with the app, or attempt to reverse engineer or bypass purchase restrictions.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as needed to maintain or improve Shift. We do not guarantee that every export format, destination service, or future iOS version will always be available.
Export and import results may depend on the source contacts, the selected format, iOS behavior, and the destination app or service. You should keep an independent copy of important data.
Shift is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, W4N9WE1 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use of Shift. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
These terms are between you and W4N9WE1, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Shift’s maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you where applicable.
Our handling of information is described in the Shift Privacy Policy.
